Good book, but do not make the mistake of thinking this book will help with your physiology class! I learned a lot from this book, and it is a great source for basic physiology and anatomy. It does not present enough detailed information to supplement any college class. Get it if you're just interested in learning how the human body works in-a-nutshell.
This book is PERFECT! It breaks down anatomy and physiology to where it's more understandable and easier to memorize. Very excited to keep reading though it to learn more and pass my exams!
the book is helpful. the scratch off online learning that goes with it is a joke. All they offer is a cross word puzzle for each chapter. if you want a in depth review you must have a instructor account. buy the book used elsewhere this is over priced for what you actually get.
This book is a great overview, if you are looking for a lot of specific information it isn't easily referenced. The pictures could be larger and more detailed but all in all a solid place to start learning
This a great book to help better understand if your struggling. I am taking an online college course, and for me it helped the information click in my head, versus reading my course book 3 times wondering what I had read!
This book is excellent for refreshing yourself on Anatomy and Physiology!! I like it because it covers the major topics and things I learned in my classes. I took Anatomy and Physiology 3 years ago and it reinforces things I remember or brings up things I had forgotten. I love the memory joggers to help you remember certain things and the simplistic text that makes it easy to understand things you may have fell short of understanding in the class. I wish I had this book when I took these courses because it would have helped things stick better, and I got an "A" in both classss!! The chapters are also not that long and the quizzes at the end confirm whether you got the chapter or didn't. I haven't checked out the website the book comes with yet. I recommend this book if you want to jog your memory, touch up, or have extra help while in the class. I don't recommend the book if you need full details because they don't cover the minor details, only major things. I will definitely utilize other books in this series in the future for other courses once I start my nursing program.
It really does make the content within it easy to understand with great illustrations. The downfall of the product is that the content is somewhat limited and doesn't quite hit the basics of A&P I at a community college.
this easy to understand and clarifies difficult topics. The artwork is wonderful and clear. The key ideas are broken down in to simple terms and the little tid bits that help to remember things is most helpful. I think this book should be part of the recomended reading.
